The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has thanked the Chief Rabbi of Munich, Shmuel Brodman, for hosting IPOB members to a “wonderful dinner”.
The IPOB leader appreciated the Chief Rabbi whom he called a dear brother and a friend of Biafra for what he described as an “amazing evening with the family”.
Kanu was in Munich, Germany, for IPOB town hall meeting held on Saturday.
He expressed his appreciation to the Rabbi in a post on his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning.
“My appreciation to a very gracious host, dear brother and friend of Biafra, the Chief Rabbi of Munich and Greater Bayern, Shmuel Brodman, for a wonderful dinner and amazing evening with the family. God bless Biafra, God bless Israel,” Kanu had tweeted.
The Nigerian government has since proscribed the group.
